s13 center tailight garnish

has anybody ever done this? I'd like to see a center tailght garnish painted black on the s13

they sell tailights like that but still retain the white/clear reverse lights.

ive seen it done and it doesnt look very good. unless you get 180sx taillights, it looks like crap in my opinion. the point where the taillights meet the center garnish is way to abrupt and it just doesnt look right.

You what might not look bad?...is this done on a red car. Cause the center garnish was red already anyway as are the lights. It would at least not be as abrupt and you may be able to mask around the reverse lights.In any case a red car w/red tailights and the center garnish painted red wouldn't look too terrible imo w/o a picture. I'd like to see it but I'll keep mine stock.

it doesnt look bad at all. take some more pics after you clean the rest of the car (back window looks dirty)

I thought about doing something like that to my third brake light. I was wanting to either remove the red color of the lense or see if i could by a clear replacment peice to fit it. I also thought about painting it with that blackout lense sh** that way it still lights up red. What do you guys think?
