I bought a Megan 3in cat back w/ a 3in test pipe for an SR and it bolted right up to the stock exhaust manifold.

I couldn't say. I never had a cat so Idk. It should work though , because the manifold bolts and the cat out bolts are orientated the same way. So test pipe - no test pipe probaly doesn't matter. The reason I have a Tp is because I got as a combo deal for $400. I wouldn't have bought Megan otherwise , but I like it now.

same happened to me with my catback, i grinded the bolts off but ended up taking the car to a shop to have the holes drilled out, took them like 25 minutes though because the type of metal kept overheating the bit or some ish

the large bolts that came with my catback wouldn't fit the converter's holes, so i just picked up a slightly smaller bolt @ advance and popped em in.

If things line up pretty close, you can try putting some muffler and tailpipe sealant on your gaskets (you did use gaskets, right?), or even alone. Use Permatex if you use anything.

ha well see here is wat happened wen i was bolting it up(i did use a gasket) but one bolt wouldnt fit and im lazy so i didnt want to drill tha hole bigger so i used a smaller bolt instead tha one they gave me! so now i have a lil leak! i think it wont bother too much but it should sound better if i get it fixed. am i right?

If that's the problem then yah it will sound better when fixed. And just drill the hole it's not hard.
