It's my understanding that the Canadian versions didn't have the automatic seatbelts so I'd assume the carpet would be missing the big humps in the rear floorboard for the passive shoulder belts. I've switched my S13 coupe to standard seatbelts and would like to replace the carpet but can't find any replacement carpet suppliers that make the Canadian version. I've also thought about S14 carpet but the S14 is 3" wider so I'm not optimistic. Anyone know of a source for replacement carpets that are in Canada or supply Canadian versions?

The USDM S13 has passive front seatbelts. The reel for the shoulder harness is in the back floorboard under the carpet and the reel for the lap belt is in the rocker panel. The Canadian version had regular 3-point harnesses with a single reel in the rocker panel. USDM cars from 88-94 had passive front seatbelts before going to air-bags. Canadian safety regulations never permitted passive restraints so they all had and still have 3-point harness systems.
