ok guys i'm looking for a front lip or aftermarket bumper. not anything expensive.(I have a modest budget.) just something to make the front a little bit lower.if anybody here knows how to make one(lip) i'm all for it. I just need someone to point me in the right direction.i'd like to keep the lip looking like the stock lip from a 180sx.or if anybody has a cracked bumper i'll take(i can fix it) any info is apreciated.

i really wanted to find an aftermarket cracked bumer to fix(its cheap and I can practice my body work). but the lip is my second choice. so how much would you charge me for it?

for your 89 model a bumper that would make it look sportier but not flashy would be a bumper from a 91-94 model and you can get a lip for them aswell that lowers them... I am thinking about doing that w/ my 90. I believe that you can find them in a local junk yard or online for pretty cheap...

i was actually gonna do this a long time ago. but now i think the with a lip the pignose looks way better.(but only with a lip.)

bump, who knows how to make a lip they are hard to find.

I have thought about remaking mine and either make it out of aluminum or fiberglass... Only problem with fiberglass is it wouldn't be very flexible and as I have scraped the road a few times w/ the plastic one on there now, makes me wonder what would happen to a fiberglass one....

well, first I am subscribed to the thread so when you say anything I get an email... So I know and can respond... Not that I am the best one to help you but it keeps it looked at.....

I am thinking of making a foam mold and then forming the fiberglass over it.... Not sure if it will work. This would also be for one designed for more downforce on the front end of my car... Since I already have the front lip on my 90.... Don't know where it came from though. I believe the previous owner got it from a local junk yard.

well keep me updated on your fiberglass project if you decide to go through with it. and if your ever getting rid of your stock lip you know where to send it.

of course!! I will let you know! Might not be for a few months or so though.... I am currently working on a custom short air intake. Got to get one project done at a time =)
