S13 Bumper?

Hey, i got into an accident a while back and i ordered a replacement front clip off somone from ebay who sold his front end for a sil-80 conversion.

anyway, i was led to believe i would be recieving a pignose front end to replace my 1989 front.

i ended up recieving a bumper from a 1991-1993 style bumper and it was equiped with JDM turn signals. anyway i was surprised but im not sure about something.

is the front end completely interchangeable without modifications? i lost my right fender and my bumper in the accidents and i just had the body shop put the right fender i recieved and also had the bumper put on . they said they had about 1 inch hanging off one side when it was mounted... is there something im missing?

The bumper horns are not the same, you need the ones from a 1991-1994 model in order to make it fit right. Everything else is the same (and those guys at the body shop are dumas$es for not knowing that by looking at it...

the bumper looked like it was slightly wider than the fender on the side

Did you replace the bumper support with the bumper? You kinda need that too.

isnt it possible to run without the bumper support? ive heard of people doing this when they run FMICs

So when you hit something you will lose you radiator and possibly damage your engine, right?

Not very smart for daily driving and also illegal.
