My name is Evan and i'm 18. My current 240 i am the third owner of. it has78k miles and 12k on the rebuild. new pistons, metal head gasket and arp head studs so i'm planning on going ka-t

so i'm pretty new here to nico club i'm always just on local forums.
i'm from around the atlanta area and the car scene is pretty good around here.
anyway i've owned three 240's so far. my zenki which was just slammed with ridiculous 15x10's... Image

then i traded that for an sr hatch which sadly blew up...
Image

since i don't have to or really the knowledge to do a full rebuild and i would need a whole new block anyway i just straight traded it for my current 1992 nissan 240sx hatch. i'm not gonna make the mistake of selling this one like i did my s14 so this one is with me for the long haul.
when i first got it it was 100% stock just put my coilovers on it. emusa but they are pretty good for me.
Image

after only a week of owning it motor was only on 2 cylinders and ran like crap out of no where..
replaced fuel rail and injectors, fuel filter, spark plugs, wires, and then finally the fuel pump fixed my problem...
Image
while i had to leave it at autozone over night some one tried to break in to the thing...
Image

the paint was in pretty bad shape so i decided to go ahead and rattle can it.
Image

my previous 240's have had welded diffs so i got one for the hatch also and was in an event at watermelon capitol speedway in cordele.
Image
Image
was an awesome day and the car drove 3 hours there. drifted all day and then 3 hours back with no problems

i needed some wheels so i got 2 xxr 526 17x10 +20 for super cheap off my buddy
Image
they looked good but i couldn't afford to buy two more new ones so i sold them for about 280.

then i picked a set of 16x10 0 offset diamond steelies up for pretty cheap also.
Image
Image
i like them a lot but i need 17's in the near future.

ordered some fake momo wheel and clearfxd my pillars for s*** and gigs lol
Image

then i traded that cheap momo for a legit nice midship woodgrain wheel
Image

previous owner had cut the exhaust off behind the cat so i got a cx racing catback for 60 bucks brand new
Image

early morning drift session stop :D
Image

i was also getting really bored of not having a front lip so i got a volvo lip for 10 bucks at pullapart and it fits perfect!
Image
looks cooler than a pig lip imo. also picked up turn signals lol

someone around my area was selling some side skirts for 50 bucks so i went ahead and got those as well
Image

i was supposed to go drive down to the track again for an event but the night before my brakes completely went out as i was driving so i jsut rode down with a friend. didn't turn out to bad because i got new fenders out of it tho lol
Image

last night i dound a roll of zebra duct tape so i did this lol
Image
that is where the car sits now. i'm pretty stoked because it's only been about 3 months since i got it and it's already come this far!
:yesnod
got big plans for it so i'll be updating this often. thanks for looking!

eh. i think it's just the obnoxious blue color that makes people not like it. painting it tomorrow legit so it should turn out a lot better

to be honest this build thread lost me at "rattle can and zebra duct tape" lol lets hope the paint turns out nice. what motor you plan on running? and please take those side skirts off. that is just ridiculous

Rattle can, well it didn't look horrible, even if slightly obnoxious.... but zebra duct tape? I dun think so......

I'm going to agree with "looked better before you got it".

i'm gonna go ka-t. when i had my sr it was fun but 80% of 240 guys around here go sr just because they don't wanna spend time boosting their ka correctly.

Looks really good, I kind of liked the teal color but can go wrong with black.

I just realized that somebody tried, and what's more, failed, to break into your s13........ by breaking the lock/handle.

Seriously...... :slap:

I carry a coiled-up coat hanger under my hood, because once I had to ask a dude going into his apartment for one, when I locked myself out.
