im planing on changing out my front rotors and pads, can ne one give me a directions like step by step? or direct me to a Topic that is already here, im goin to have my friend help me but i dont feel 100% with him doin it, would really appriciate it : ) ty

fronts:- pull the lower pin bolt out- rotate caliper up- now you've access to the pads. pull the pads and the shims off- push the piston into the caliper (with the cap off the brake fluid reservoir)- get the new pads and apply the brake grease on the back of the pad and put on the new shims onto the back of the pads- slide the pads back on and rotate the caliper back down and tighten down the pin bolt.

rear:search this. basically the same stuff, just instead of rotating, pull the caliper off ala the two pin bolts and instead of pushing the piston in, it screws in.

kool but also im taking off the rotors, and getting new ones...

once the calipers are off he rotor will just slide off the studs. It might need a little provoking if it is rusted on. ebay normally has some good deals on rotor and pad combos. I got a brembo set from them for 250 i think.
