I tried to change my front brakes today which was the first time that i had changed them since i got the car. I had all the tools needed and the brake pads too. i take off one of the front tires and remove the old pads. i go to put the new ones on.... and surprise they're a bit too big. i thought maybe they gave me the wrong ones so i go the the store again... and again they're too big so i didn't get them... some help would be appreciated.

side by side of the new one on top and old one on bottom

the old one on top of the new one. the new one is slightly larger

Try going to a different store or ordering a set from one of the online vendors on this site?

go to a different store. btw remember to only do one wheel/brake at a time. dont take both off, both calipers off and pump the brakes without compressing the piston. Its not a bad thing just a pain in the a** to bleed the brakes.
