I just got done putting 300zx calipers and rotors on my 240sx. I have the 300zx master cylinder too. My brakes are soft though. While my car is running, the pedal has to be pushed down 2 times before it will grip on the 3rd press. I've bled the system about 3 times fully, and it is still soft. When i push in the brake pedal (until it gets tight), it loses its tightness in like 10 seconds. I am still using the stock S13 brake lines, I've heard that I had to upgrade the brake lines to match 300zx....is this correct? I would really like to get a hold of anyone who has done this brake upgrade...if anyone has any suggestions..let me know. thanks.

my friend's rear caliper (92 240) was leaking, and his brakes felt soft as hell.

i take it you're using the stacked washer method of attaching the stock S13 lines to the Z32 calipers. Swap to a conversion line, and that should hopefully cure your problems.

Hey, what lines, are you talking about the rubber lines or hard lines? I have brand new rubber lines, but the stock s13 hard lines(some of them, i replaced alot of them). are the 300zx brakes ran off of a larger hard line? I have no leaks though. I can pump it all day but I dont see any leaks....is it possible that I could have a leak where air goes in and ****s up the system but fluid can't leave? thanks.
