s13 brake and tail lights won't turn on...done my hw

Hey guys, I'm not new to the site, but just made an acc. Anyways, I had some dude put in my aftermarket stereo on my 90 s13 pignose. Tail and dash lights went out. Fuses keep blowing, therefore there must be a short somewhere. I have searched that it could be the TCU. Therefore I went to get a new TCU at the j-yard. Still nothing. Tried grounding the red/yellow wire...still nothing. I had a friend of mine look at the wiring and they said everything looks normal, except for a ground wire is connected to an orange one...not sure if that's what is causing it.


Can anyone help me?!?!
