My A/C blower only blows at my feet.It was working fine a moment ago, but I was fooling around with the controls, and I pressed the "feet only" button, and now it won't switch to anything else.

What could be wrong?please help before I get frostbite on my legs

Maybe the linkage arm that moves the door has come loose.

If you push dash/foot button does the light switch over from the foot button. Or is the switch not working either?

On some cars, losing vacuum will cause your blower to blow only on the floor.

Are the dash/floor dampers vacuum-based on the 240? I don't know because my climate control never worked -- lol

There is a small motor on the left side of the blower assy. If you're sitting in the car ir will be close in location to right knee. Just take off the cover under the steering wheel and you'll see it. It is attached to linkages under there..This motor will fit in the palm of your hand and is held in by three 8mm screws...or you can get it off with a short stubby phillips. Called the mode motor. There have been at least three threads on this. The plastic gears in the motor strip and it can't push the linkages to move the flaps inside the housing. Replace that motor!! I have two of them . E-mail me if you want one....very easy to change out but have to be careful it does require twisting the motor to get it off the linkage...Hope this helps...

Who needs a/c? It's a useless belt taking away easy horse power.

I dont know about you, but if I lived in Hawaii, I would want a/c too, and not to sure I would care about the 3 HP the a/c compressor uses to keep me cool in Hawaii.

a/c does not slow down ur car that much. when u have a 150hp then yea u'll prolly beable to tell when the compressor is on. but i had a 300hp sr and ran a/c everyday and it was as fast as ever.
