S13 Blacktop SR Which oil strainer do i have?!

I have an S13 blacktop SR20 and im wondering which pickup to order i was going to replace it and the gasket on the engine i just got before i start using it however i have heard that s13 blacktops already come with the same strainer pick up as the s14 SR20?

So now i am stumped on which one to order,

I mean obviously it says S13 SR20DET on the first one but im wondering if thats the one i order or do i order the S14 SR one??

i would think the s13 sr is more of a better fit. i've interchanged them with no problem between my blacktop and my friends redtop.

Yes, they both fit - but they have a slightly different mounting location on each. Just get the one for your motor if you have any doubts.

ive seen that they have different mounting points but im wondering if there is any disadvantage to using the s14 oil pickup in the s13 SR.. Ive heard alot of people say its an upgrade because of the larger opening.

The S14 will fit an S13 motor. I"ve done it plenty of times. In fact, Nissan switched the S13 blacktops over to that style of strainer.
