If the S13 blacktop comes out of a 94-98 does that mean that I have a chance to get an OBD2 engine. I don't want an OBD2 engine. Or does this mean that Nissan didn't change to OBD2 until the S14 motors and up?

The reason I don't want OBD2 is that typically an OBD2 engine will have an O2 sensor in the exhaust stream near the cat, not always but sometimes. I want to run 3in from the turbo back! Has anyone run into problems doing this with an OBD2 SR20DET. I recently turboed my friends Honda and it is OBD2 and the car won't run with a test pipe or straight through.

ive seen people run into problems when there is another sensor after where the cat used to be. after you remove the cat, theres no difference in readings between the two, and that can mess things up. is this what youre talkin about?

Yes moreso, I don't want CEL problems and such, just pure unadulterated power and 3in from the turbo back with no problems
