s13 blacktop lower harness quewstion

I was wondering if i use the ka harness is it just plug and play or do i have to modify something. the swap is a s13 blacktop into a s13 i know the s14 needs modification but im wondering about the s13 to s13?

yeah man unfortunately you will have to modify the stock ka harness to work with the s13 if u purchase the sr s13 swap from drifting.com they show u how to modify it. it costs only $19 hope this helps

Use your exhisting KA sensors, they will plug into your SR transmission. Then you can plug in your KA harness. You will have an extra plug that goes no where. This is what I did on my S13 swap it should be similar for most S13 swaps.

well i sold my ka engine and so i dont have the sensor i just have the harness, so what im told is that the ka will plug into the starter alternator and stuff just not the speed sensor, reverse lights, and neutral position sensor, is that correct cause than i can just solder the sr plugs onto the ka one right?

you will need to put in the ka speed sensor otherwise your speedometer will read wrong.
