S13 blacktop into s14 speedsensor issues

Hey guys, I have an s13 black top swapped into my s14. Im trying to get the speedometer to work, but im having a little problem. Im trying to put the s14 speed sensor into the s13 sr transmission, but it seems as though my s14 sensor is a little too big to get into the hole in the transmission. Any ideas for me on how to make my speedo work?

hey i have that same problem where did you guys get your speedo sensors from?

KA manual transmission. S14 Auto sensors will not fit...

hmm perhaps that is my problem then...im not sure if the sensor im trying to put in was out of a auto or manual, but it defiantely will not go into the transmission. Its simply too large, but the flange and wire connector are the same, also the teeth on the gear look to be a little different. Maybe ive got an auto speedsensor.....
