S13 Black Top Sr20det swap HELP!!!

I just bought a 93 240sx and a S13 Black Top SR20DET front clip. So I just need to know what I need to make this thing run right. I haven't put the engine in the car yet, I'm just wanted to be prepared. I heard one of my friend said that I need to hook up some wires or rewire, something like that. I'm not sure, so anyone that have done one before, please let me know. Also anything that will help me swap the S13 in. Thanks.

Do u have any expierence with swapping motors? Because if u don't u should take it to a professional. I "knew" this guy in my city, that tried to install one by himself and was never able to complete it, now the SR just sits in his garage. (Sucka ha, he deserves it) But yea anyways good Luck.

i'd get a pro to do the swap man,cause its not as easy as u think besides u can fry $hit that can be very pricy if u had to buy it from the dealership or at all in ur case

Well talking about experiences, I just graduated as a mechanic and I'd swap engines before and in school too. So yeah I had some experiences. About the swap of the SR20DET, I just need to know what kind of modifications and the rewire stuffs because I don't know much about this engine. I have never work on it before. So yeah any help will be great.

The swap is straight forward. You have to splice about thirty wires altogether. As long as you bought the front clip from a good supplier, then you should have no trouble. I helped out a guy who bought his from venus and after two MAFs, a Transmission and ECU, his car runs fine. I can do your wiring harness for you if you'd like. My shop is in KC, though so its' a long way to bring your car in for thw whole swap. Ignore what the other guys say about Heavy throttle, They've been great
