so i got the front ball joints for $70 for both and they're installed(trw brand made n japan good quality). now i cant find the rear ball joints, just the entire rear control arm(w/balljoint on it) from the nissan dealer $133

weird, they look like the same ball joints as the front but they are not.why do autoparts stores carry the front but not the rear?

so now i guess ill be paying $266 to get new rear ball joints and i just got the front in for $70.......

good thing i am installing the erg sus bushing kit also because you need a press to get the old bushings out and it helps when putting the new bushings in.

anyone know were to get just the rear s13 ball joints?

that's a good question that I've been looking for an answer for as well. However, I've yet to find someone selling just the rear ball joint. Which sucks. But you can try contacting a dealer about those parts.

The only way you can get the rear ball joints is with the the entire arm...I've looked all over the internet, called all the different parts stores and that is the only way they sell them...Not even the dealer ship themselves sell just the ball joint...the cheapest I've found the lower A-arm is $90....

Search for SOCKINGTON's thread under 240sx&silvia and go to page 7 of his thread down towards the bottom. B12 SENTRA front ball joints work in the rear control arms. I have done it and the only thing I'll add is to remove the dust cover from the joint BEFORE pressing it in. If you don't you will tear the **** out of it. I did on one of my made in japan MOOGs. Had to get one of those Autozone Duralast ones at the last moment just to get a dust cover. Then I found out you can get urethane dust covers from Energy Suspension.
