Hi. Im new to the forums. I am BMW guy at heart and currently have e34 , but I was always thinking about bying S13 for a fun drift project car. Im looking to purchase my first 240sx S13 right now. I found a very very clean 1989 240 S13 coupe but it does have an auto transmission, so that has to go. How difficult is auto to manual swap and how much should i expect to spend? Thanks a lot

Well first, welcome to the Nissan community if you end up getting an S13.Your question is a simple one, it's a very easy procedure if your mechanically inclined at all. The only part that sucks about buying an auto is FINDING some of the swap parts (hard lines, random screws, etc). I made the mistake of buying an auto, couldn't piece the parts together so I just recently bought a donor car.Saved me a ton of cash. Now in a few weeks I'll have my swap.

Theres a ton of stickies on the issue in the forum and a lot of posts with good information. Search bar is at the top right in the light blue task bar.

Thanks man. Yup ive searched a little but havent found a clear answer about the cost expected. Well hopefully I get the car. How much would you pay for a very clean 1989 S13 auto coupe with 160k miles?

Nice response. If you are not willing to help, then do not bother posting, unless you simply want an extra post.
