s13 and s14 weight

Does anyone know off the top of their heads the difference in weight between the two cars?

100-500 pounds depending on options

a fully loaded 97-98 s14 against a no-option 89-90 s13 will be a 500 pound difforence

on average it's about like this

s13--2700 w/options

s14--2950 w/options

How much would a '93 coupe with no options weigh? Around 2700?

Well Im ditching my AC next week when my sr goes in. Aside from that I dont know how much more there is to strip. Also does the Silvia front end weight less than the one with the pop up head lights? I would assume so...

yes it does, replacing windows with lexan is another option if your hard core enough. Striping out the interior and sound dampening will shave some noticable weight.

Yeah Lexan is a little too hardcore for me. Plus theyre not street legal and its waay too obvious for cops to notice. That might all come when I can get a daily driver.

Well it looks like I might be getting a convertible S13 insted of a S14 so anyone know what a S13 conv. weighs? Also with no wondow frame on the door does that mean a conv. doesnt have auto seatbelts? If not that should save some weight right?

P.S. I know a convertible is not the best for tuning because of weight and body flex but I cant turn down the chance to get one that is swapped, its just pimp.

i believe the s13 convertible (its a 94 right> i thoght that was the only year for the drop top) weighs in at about 285o

they had verts 93 and 94.

s13 vert + silvia conversion + performance upgrades = big pimpin

EDIT: 89 coupe + intake and cat back + 2 jl 10w3v2s + kenwood head unit + alpine 4 channel amp + alpine 6.5s all around + concept 800 watt amp + lightning audio 1 farad cap = SUPER RICED OUT NERD
