Hey all. I need a couple questions answered. I'm in the process or rebuilding an s14 sr20, but I just found out that because the previous owner ran the car way too lean, he detonated the engine. So my pistons are no good, and there is too much damage too the block to repair it. I also have a blown s13 sr20 but the crank and one rod are no good. Heres my questions. Are the cranks and the rods the same in both engines? And is there a difference in transmissions? I already have an s14 transmission in my car? And I will have to change the wiring harness and ecu.I have searched and can't seem to find what I'm looking for.

Con rods and cranks are the same. Though the cranks may have different numbers on them refering to the piston sizes. Blocks are not the same. Transmissions are different but will bolt up to each other with no issues.
