s13 amp blown??

i just got another s13, and wanted to take the cd player out of my other 240. the new one still had the stock radio/cassette player in it, but the tape player didnt work.

i took the cd player out of my other car, and put it in with no problems, except theres no sound. there's power and everything to the cd player, but i get no sound, wether it be cd or radio.

Try and wire the speakers straight to the cd player and see what happens. any speaker should work that way if you hook up a speaker to the cd player and it plays you know the amps shot.

are we talkin about a amp amp dat u add, if so u might want to swtich da fuse from da wire.. might be it got burn out befor u decide it blow out..

I'm pretty sure he was talking about a factory amp that came in the 240s.

try taking a 9v battery and popping individual speakers from the harness. you may have a speaker grounding out
