Ok so here we go again.... I am desperately trying to avoid taking my transmission off, but Im running out of options. The car shifts in and out of gear when the motor is not running. If I put it in gear and start it with the clutch in , it bucks like the clutch is not disengaged. starting in neutral is ok but it wont go into gear. The slave seems to work just fine (moves about an inch and a half to two inches) and the release fork does not wiggle around inside the bellhousing at all. This is a spec clutch that is almost brand new. It has less than 500 miles on it. I have tried everything short of replacing a brand new clutch. Someone has to have some insight for me.

the slave is definetly pushing the fork. As for the other, I didnt install the clutch so Im not sure where the fork is on the TOB. I cannot move the fork by hand

Only other thing I can think of is either 1. your fork is bentor 2. your fork is further up along the carrier than it should be.

either way I'd suggest pulling the transmission and having a gander at the cause.

Please elaborate. Im thinking its not the master because the slave seems to be operating correctly. When your master went did it look like everything was working correctly?

everything still worked besides the fact that it would lose pressure and i would have trouble engaging sometimes.....i didnt think that was it either but turned out it was and they dont cost to much and easy to replace!
