S13 '93 5spd Start with no clutch

Ok i did search even though i'm new here (not new to automotive forums) and off course found nothing... so here is my problem:

My S13 is 5spd but it WILL start with NO clutch input, other than that the car drives normally (i still have to clutch to shift) even though i know how to rev-match to do clutchless shifts

I'm assuming you're 2nd or 3rd owner of this car? I'm pretty sure some one just disabled it, really easy to do takes 5 minutes. If it really bugs you, you could wire it back up. Just don't worry about it.

either that or it might've been swapped auto --> manual. mine doesn't need clutch to start, however i must rev it past 1.5k once or the engine shutters and stuff and eventually will die. but after that 1 hit of gas car idles fine.

so anyway, i dont know why it would bother you tho.

ok, i was wondering if it was because my clutch is too worn (i'll change it anyway) and yeah i'm the owner #unknow...

yeah its really easy to change . my friend had the same thing and the previous owner had just connected a paperclip to the connector for the clutch pedal.
