S13 5-Speed into a S-14 Auto

Can I use a S-13 transmission for my Swap instaed of a S-14 transmission? I beleive the bolt patterns are the same on the bell housing but as for the mounting points and the lengths I am un-sure.

is your S14 OBD1 or OBD2?

i was wondering the same thing. I have a obd-1 car. Would a s13 transmission work? Thanks for your help.

ODB 1 I am going to assume that it will seeing how the ECU won`t see any difference in the sensors.

obd2 s14's have a sensor on the top of the trans bellhousing that will not be there on the s13 that could cause ecu codes to be thrown.. maybe worse ... im not exactly sure what it does.. i threw mine away
