I'm trying to do a 5lug/300zx brake conversion. Can I do it with my 300ZX rims? I know its a lil crazy but I got 225/50R16s on the front & 255/50R16s on the rear, twin turbo rims. How is the offset? Will it clear? I don't mind if the rear tires stick out a lil. I just wanna know if anyone tried this & how it turned out. Do I have to change the offset on the 300ZX rims to make it work? Any info would help. Thanks.

I thinkt he fronts are to high offset, meaning they will hit coilovers. You need a 10-15mm spacer depending on coilovers but 300zxtt rears all around would be NICE. and 255 will fit in the rear no problem (maybe slight fender roll) but a 225 or 235 will give you a nice stretch.

You think the 300ZX rims wont clear the coilovers in the front with spacers? I'm just curious if you've tried this or if you know anyone who has. I'm hoping to find a definite... I tried that its a mistke or I tried it, its all cool but you may need this or that. But yeah, the new tire size will be a big improvement. I say some really nice looking 240's in the car show here & the widest they went was a 235, I'm pretty sure my rears wont be letting go of the track at all.
