Okay I have a 4 lug S13 and I want to upgrade the brakes, but I do not want to do the Z32 conversion. (Can't do the Z32 conversion.) I don't want to do the conversion because I can't afford to have the conversion done and buy a new set of rims and tires plus I can't Z32 to take parts from anyway. Can anyone recommend some brake upgrades for the 4 lug S13 that can get me through untill I can afford the entire Z32 5 lug conversionwith rims and tires!!

might i suggest that you just go with the Z32 rotors and calipers. but have the rotors drilled to fit the 4-lug hugs on the S-13

you only have to buy the calipers you can just buy infinity g20 rotors already in the correct size and use the 99-00 model only. they are 10.9"

IMO if you want to save some money and time just buy new rotors and pads, i would consider brembo blanks or drilled and slotted rotors with Hawk pads. no conversion, no extensive work, just plug and play, and the stopping force is great. currently i am using brembo blanks with hawk pads and i have no complaints.

yep, by some new blank rotors and then buy some Hawk pads, or i recommend EBC Greenstuff pads. Those pads have only faded on me once, and that was right after i fired up the car and i asked them to quickly slow us from 85-0 without warming up first

huge braking performance for about 120 bones

you don't need to do the 5-lug swap to get Z32 brakes. you can put the fronts straight on the car after redrilling the rotors, and the rears will fit after changing over to the hub-integral parking brake.

if you still want more, 350Z brakes, skyline GT-R (R32 GT-R=Z32, R33 GT-R is larger, R34 GT-R larger still), and '97+ Q45 brakes will all fit right on with redrilled rotors. i'm not sure how humungous the R33 or R34 GT-R brakes are, although i think the R34 GT-R is similar or same as 350Z track w/ those nice brembos. lots of money there. my personal pick for ultra track duty are the '97+ Q45 brakes. 11.7" rotors, twin-piston calipers with more piston area than Z32 although not aluminum. if you can fade those you're a champ. and they look sexy .

but really you shouldn't need brakes that big. Z32's should be FINE, even with normal/street pads. and the 10.9" rotors will mean much less rotational inertia and unsprung weight, as will the aluminum calipers (get the aluminum ones!).
