S13 240sx auto to manual swap?

First off, I've always owned American cars, so this will be my first import. I've pretty much decided on a 240sx for a number of reasons, and looked at several. Only one seems decent so far, the only downside is that its an automatic. How difficult is it to swap out the auto transmission for a standard? And how much money would I need to invest in parts for the swap?

It's very easy to do if you have basic skills. There are write ups here and in the vert sub forum too on how exactly to do it. Also in a past issue of Project car. You can acquire the parts for around 300 or so.
