Should work just fine. I run an 18x8 +37 (really close if not) up front. If it rubs, it'll be because of tire size. I'm assuming you're running probably a 225/50 or close?

x8 is no sweat. People run x9 all the time.

In your case, it's all about tires. +35 will sunken, so you want 10-15mm spacers to make it flush with the fender. I have 235/40 on 17x8 and tire rubs on fender liner, so I had to adjust the caster a little bit.

Not by much. Tire was rubbing when I had stock tension rods, so when I installed aftermarket tension rods, I made it shorter approximately 2-4mm. Rubbing was not serious at all, but it bothered me, so I had to take care of it. I could have used a heat gun to modify fender liner too.

This is 17x8 +38 with 15mm spacer, so offset is +23. Tire is 235/40 Falken.
