s12 project

Hey guys, i just bought an 87 200sx, the s12 body.
Does anyone know how easy it is to swap an sr20det in? I'll probably be getting it from jspecauto.com out of VA. Their engines come with almost everything i would need engine wise, minus a intercooler and driveshaft.. But will i have to get different engine mounts? and what else would i need? Right now it has a ca20e engine in it, runs like crap and has no power.

go to club s12.org it may be pretty dead but there is a lot of good info. or try s12silvia.com but its based in aussie. i love my s12's more then my s13's i wish they had more suport.

It's the hatch, 5speed all the way, 128xxx miles, uhh its white and the body is in great shape, but the engine is failing cause the retard before me. haha. Future plans for the car, if anyone knows what the heartbreaker s12 looks like, i would love it to be similar to that, but not exactly the same cause im no copy cat lol.

if you need any suspension advice i can probably give you some tips; i never got mine running right, but i just ran into alot of problems with wiring ( alot of the years are slightly diff i think by 87 they are a bit less messy)

shoot some pics up.

also a five spd car is easier becaue the crossmember is mounted right to bolt up a sr trans

Questions are fine, but questions that have been asked a million times, or questions that should be looked into PRIOR to a project like this should be searched. The kid is asking for waaay too much info as if you can write out the answer in one line.

He is more than likely extremely lazy to even search. And that's what's annoying.

Haha, bro if only you knew. I've done hours apon hours of research, ive got alot of knowledge thanks to it. I was jus askin that cause sometimes its hard to look through post's after post's searching for the best detailed swap build. therefor, asking mass amounts of ppl who might know off the top of your head, not implying im to lazy to look for myself.

oh, and fyi people who hate are alot more annoying than ppl asking a question.
