shouldn't be too hard but why not work with the CA?

i was thinking bout just swaping in the det but those are expensive, where as the ka24 is cheap to come by, parts are easy to find, and a ka24(t) would make some fun power and not hard to do since the car came trubo (digital gauge and boost display) so i already have the trubo and everything, all i would need is slight upgrades for the ka (fuel filter, fuel pump, injectors, ecu) turbo manifold, down pipe, big exhaust..

point of order, the KA was not originally a turbo engine and hacking wiring and computers is not that simple. If I could make a suggestion. Back in the day a freind of mine had an S12 CA18ET. He had a FMIC, an SR20 turbo on it and a Rebic providing additional fuel. This was long before SAFCs, $1000.00 engine management systems and user freindly stuff like that.He could whoop most boosted up SR silvias with it, the motor can produce. Now if you overhauled the CA you have; new pistons forgies if you have the budget but OEM will hang if you tune well and don't run lean, metal head gsket, big cam(regrind?) full exhuast, big intercooler, S14 turbo, good upgraded fuel system you had quite a little stinger there.

Here's another idea, some of the S12s came with VG30s in them. Find one of those, grab the gearbox, motor mounts and wiring harness, then pull a turbo motor and wiring harness from a 300ZX Z31(SOHC model) and throw that in. Just a thought
