Im trying to figure out how big the 88 s12 se v6 fuel pump size is. Its the vg30e as you know and I have a ka-t Im almost finished with swapping. Everything is bolted in transmission motor drive shaft (had to mate the ka and s12 front and tail shafts) used a s13 crossmember and the vg transmission mount. Everything is in and almost done and the car will be started in a few weeks. I'm positive it has the same fuel pump as the z31 fuel pump so I think Im safe for a ka-t just running sr injectors safc2 tune and a ca18det turbo running 7psi. Soooo I think im safe until i upgrade to a sr t25 and by than I'll get a hold of my s14 fuel pump a couple hours away.

T25 is kinda small for a 2.4litre, in my opinion. A v6 fuel pump should be plenty, unless you want to go Aftermarket, which is like less than $100 shipped to your door.

Also was there a question here?

Haha ya I forgot to ask but I figured you guys are smart and posted it in the title. But Its just a stock ka thats been re gasketed from the end of the transmission to the water pump. I'm estimating with a street tune and 7psi on the ca turbo I'll be pushing 230-240whp and just want to make sure the s12 fuel pump is enough. I kind of figured it uses the same fuel pump as a z31 but I just wanted to make sure.

I'd definitely upgrade to a larger unit.

But you're using a dinky T25 turbo so, I guess you could use the VG fuel pump.

Be careful with the SAFC, it doesn't modify your timing so I'd probably get an ECU tune or retard the timing a few degrees.

S12 VG fuel pump is the same as the Z31 non-turbo unit. It will work for the KA turbo motor, but I don't think high throttle is going to work well. You need a better pump.

Well I've only spent $120 for the swap so far since I traded my my s13 coupe for it. So I only have $60 left for a new fuel line new solid clutch line. So im pretty happy and dont understand why people dont do the ka swap more. Its so simple with just a s13 crossmember and a vg30 tail shaft and vg transmission mount.... But back to the point I plan on swapping the fuel pump out real quick once i have more money. The safc 2 is already tuned for the car and I do plan on a ecu tune once I have the money. But does anyone know the lph of the fuel pump? I know a stock s13 and s14 are 180lph and most peopl dont realize you can use them until uping the boost on a sr swap.

Go to a junkyard and get a Z31 turbo pump. It will work for a while until you can get a new one. TheZ32 model is supposed to work somehow as well... :gotme
