s12 ball joint replacement.

Alryte, i need some help guys. I have the lower control arm out of the car and the steering link is dosconnected. The steering portion is off but i dont know how to push the ball joint out of the arm. Even then, the new ball joint I have has a snap ring, and some weird coil thing. How do I assemble this joint?

the ball joint in the arm has a small ring holding it in place. you need to dig around for it and pop the ring out.

Are you working on a 200sx or a 240sx? S12 is the 200sx from 84 to 88.
