sorry guys, I know this is not the datsun or silvia forum but I trust youguys (kun, smith, and the trolls) on anything wheel/tire/brake or suspensionrelated.
the S110 had 4 wheel disc brakes stock, do you know of an upgraded rotor or caliper that can be swapped onto this chassis (79-83 200sx)?maybe something like how the maxima brakes can be put on sentras,or 180sx brakes on 240sx? If not, then what would be the best kind ofrotors/pads to get for an older car with disc brakes that will see someagressive driving?
also, there are very very few options for these cars in the way of suspension.I'm talkin oem replacements or aftermarket pieces... the major problem isthat a lot of parts once made for this chassis style are discontinued...I've heard that the front shocks from a 240z are a pretty much directfit, know anything about that? any other suspension upgrade info onthese older vehicles with a solid rear axle?
Is there anywhere that carries N.O.S. energy suspension bushing kits?they used to make a kit for this car but I'm pretty sure its no longer manufactured...
theres a guy with a 13B swapped S110 in florida who did a full reworkingof his suspension, looks like he re-engineered it from the ground up. I can't seem to find the pics anymore, does anyone by chance have thatlink?
thanks folks.
