I HAVE A SERIES 1 RB25DET IN MY S14. I CAN START IT WHEN IT'S COLD & DRIVE IT BUT ONCE I TURN IT OFF & LET IT SIT FOR A FEW MINUTES IT WON'T START BACK UP UNTIL IT'S COOLED DOWN AFTER 30-45MINS. IT ALSO ISN'T GETTING ANY SPARK DURING THAT TIME.

Check your coil pack harness. Mine got hot and the tape adhesive melted and shorted everything to ground so no power to the coils. When I pulled the tape off and cleaned it up, the engine fired right up.

Were you able to drive tho? I can drive but today I got on it & mid throttle it jus died on me but still had electrical power. I'll check the harness tho.

I drove it to a car show with no problems, it sat in the sun with the hood open and it was hot enough to melt the tape and short the harness. I got stuck there for about 6 hours trying to sort it out because there was zero spark.

Also, if it is intermittant like that, it could be that you have a bad power (white) or ground (black) connection on that harness too. When it fails is when you want to have a multimeter handy to troublshoot the wiring.
