S vs SL

is the V offered in only 2 sub-models, S and SL? because these are the only 2 ive seen mensioned, also do ALL S models have an S on the hatch. i just remembered when i shaved my hatch that there was only the NISSAN and VERSA badges. whats the deal?

Only S and Sl.

It was weird though, the other night on the way home I saw a White V Hatchback (loaded with what seemed to be 5 people.) and they had the S emblem on the trunk door. I have no clue if that is something they did or if its something that Nissan is now doing.

Though the trim packages have always been S and SL, Nissan didn't start putting the trim badges on the back of the cars until around December 2006. early Versas are all missing the trim badges.

Was thinking about taking the ERSA off and moving the V to under the trunk release on my hatchback. Any opinions? And what should I do with the SL if I do that.

I got my S last week. It does not have the S badge. Maybe because it is "Limited Production"

Yeah... did you check your door plate to see when it was BUILT?

What I've noticed is this:

As EV stated above, no Versa had a trim badge before Dec 06. After this, they put either an S or an SL on all of the 07 models. For whatever reason, the 08's only have a trim badge if they're an SL, the S just says Versa.

This isn't official information, just what I've noticed. If there is anyone that has an 08 S with a trim badge, speak up and prove me wrong, but I'm 99% confident that the only S models with a trim badge on the road are 07 models manufactured after December 06.

I guess we could assume that the trim badge is now a feature in the upgrade from the S to the SL model, huh?
