Ive been having problems with my engine for awhile now but lately its been getting worse. The idle is extreemly rough causing the car to shake every few seconds and there is hesitation when i put it in gear. It mis-fires and trips my knock sensor as well... I notice that the small tube the goes from the EGR valve to the EGR-Bypass valve was busted so i replaced it but it still acts the same. I suspect that my EGR or AIV system is all gunked up. How do i clean it? Any suggestions? My car is a 95 240 btw.

borrow someones boost gauge.. and hook it up too the vacum line with a T adapter... it should read at ideal 20 to 21 Inch lbs... rev it and let it fall back down.. it should read while dereving... 24- 26 inch lbs.. if not.. you have a vaccum leak somewhere
