Well a mechanic came over today and let me in on some good and bad news. We found:

6 SPARK PLUGS FIRING2 FUEL INJECTORS FIRINGGreat Compression

My RB25DET SERIES 1 WILL RUN ON 1 OR 2 CYLINDERS...... Wierd huh....

So i'm in the market for some new injectors STOCK. I have an SAFC-II but i don't think my engine is ready for some 550cc injectors. I'd like all 6 but i think 4 might do the job. Just give a price fellas. Or point me in a direction for a good fuel injector that is available for swapping. Did my research in the forum but didn't find anything on a reference on injectors. I know the 86-92 RX7 FC3S 550cc will work but i'm worried about running rich. I just want to run stock for awhile. Then upgrade later.

Thanks for reading this post. Sgt Flo

I find it extremly hard to beleive four squiters took a ****, I would try the all hooked up to a plug that currently has a working injector. It might be a wiring problem instead of bad injectors.

Trouble shooting techniques.

1st we checked all the coil packs for volts, pulse(ecu signal), ground then took the coil pack with the plugs still attached and watched them fire.

Then he unplugged the 1st coil pack and the engine didn't try to sputter or anything. Then he went down the row untill he got to the 3rd coil pack unplugged it and it sputtered then he tried the 5 coil pack and it sputtered again. but when he did it to any of the other coil packs it didn't do anything. he looked at the plugs again and told me 4 of the 6 plugs weren't combusting in the block. They still looked brand new and smelled like oil with no fuel. except for 2. He then looked at the fuel into the rail and checked the psi and it was correct and then we checked the PULSE for the injectors and it was good soo we came to the conclusion that it had to be clogged fuel injectors. But i guess if you guys don't believe me i can shoot some video of the engine with 4 coil packs unplugged and start it up and run it. That should sway you guys to believe. Wierd huh!

I had a similar problem on a z32, and the ignitior (PTU) connectors had to be cleaned. Then all 6 worked fine.

thanks for replying fellas. I have taken my fuel injectors to be reconditioned here in san antonio and we'll find out what/if there is anything wrong with the injectors. I'll clean the contacts on the fuel injectors and harness tomorrow before i install. BUT MY ENGINE WAS LITERALLY RUNNING ON 2 CYLINDERS
