Ok, the code is P2A03 I think, I know it's for an oxygen sensor. I've replaced both the front oxygen sensors and the car is running normally, but the exhaust smells like gasoline. I hit the throttle pretty hard today and noticed that the smell was stronger. I've been told the code could be due to a catalytic converter being bad. Would this make sense given the smell of the exhaust? The car is still running normally.

Yes, it could definitely be a catalytic converter. It could be a couple of other things as well. Have you changed the oil since the O2 sensor replacement? The spark plugs? When cars run Richford bad oxygen sensors fuel gets in the oil and it black men's the spark plugs making the far less effective at burning fuel. Also, if you used Busch oxygen sensors it is also likely that they have failed already. Use OEM or NTK oxygen sensors always. Good luck, hope you get it figured out.

That should say "rich from" not Richford. These countless ads popping up on my galaxy tab make typing a nightmare. This is the only site I've ever encountered this though. Also should say "blackens" not black mens.....lmfao. Guess I should have proof read.

I had to have a manifold replaced a year or so again and they replaced all my oxygen sensors with factory ones at the same time.
