This is the information you seek. It's probably the Knock Sensor causing you the trouble. But it will act up if you have low octane fuel in your tank.
The Knock sensor detects pinging and it will adjust the air/fuel ratio to compensate for the problem which will rob you of power.
Try a tank of premium fuel, change your fuel filter ( At the tank ) and pour a small 4-6oz bottle of Fuel Injector Safe Methyl Hydrate (gasline antifreeze), in your tank. This will get rid of possible moisture in the fuel system that can contribute to the problem.
