So anyways i just got this card for my 3 year old laptop from HP. Once I install the card and restart after drivers are installed it somehow disables my wireless adapter which is integrated. I get the message that the wireless adapter isnt detected and when i try to use ethernet, it doesnt connect to my network either so no internet. I was wondering if any pros out there can give me any advice besides me getting a new computer. thanks

you may have your power options set to conserve power on PCI express wake. Go to your power options for each device through "device manger","right click adapter and click properties. {its prob the last tab}. are you familer with these options and their location?? or should I explain in detail?
