S-AFC tuning?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

I am building my 240 as an na and i am going to get the apex-i safc to tune the stock computer for now. my question is using an a/f meter what readings should i go on stock compression so that i dont experience any knock?

an a/f gauge/meter isnt really accurate, its mostly for looks. The s-afc has one built in and the object is to just get it to be as even across the band as possible. But its hard to do it all while your driving so u gotta get on a dyno for a bit and tune it.

The best way to tune it is obviously use a wide band O2 sensor,but those cost allot

What is often done, is tune in on a dyno, most of the time the dyno operator will tune it...50 bucks an hour, and you get your self 10 extra hp
