Hey guys,

I'm close to finishing my sohc kat, and I'm looking for S-AFC settings that I can use as a baseline. I know I can't just run on other people's numbers, but I want a general idea. I'm looking at either going with 370cc, or 444cc.

I've searched, and found -27% for LOW is decent for 370's. But what about in HI throttle mode? The correction percentage has to decrease when you hit boost obviously.

I know quite a few people run a similar setup, so if I could get a list of all the rpm points and correction %'s for HI and LOW from such a setup, I would be very grateful.

My setup consists of a Z31 T3, stock boost (~6 psi), SAFC, and either 370cc or 444cc.

Thanks,

Pete

without a wideband i would play it safe on hi throttle to have it at -25% until the turbo starts to spool then bring it to -10-0% depending how much boost your running. kinda hard to tell tho cuz maybe your fpr is worn out and not increasing pressure with boost (1:1), i think thats right. or like my car has a couple extra psi of fuel pressure at idle than it should. might not really make a difference but your could be too low.

if your tuning with a turbo GET A WIDEBAND or dyno of course

*Sigh*

Apparantly I wasn't clear enough. I KNOW I need to get a dyno tune or get a wideband. Thats not what I was asking.

I was asking if anyone, with a similar setup, could post their s-afc settings so I can get a general idea. All I need is:

"I run 370cc on a T3 at 7 psi. Here are my s-afc settings:

LOW: 1000rpm = xx% 2000 rpm = xx% ... etc.HIGH: 1000 rpm = xx% 2000 rpm = xx% ... etc."

Thats all I need, thats it.

If someone could post something like that, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you,

Pete

Actually, just using the baseline -27 for 370cc injectors for Hi and Low throttle is about the best anyone could tell you.

-27 on HI is actually going to be running somewhat rich. It should be safe enough to drive it like that to the dyno.. I did.

i jsut put a stock maf back on my car to troubleshoot some things. now my low map is -27% straight across. my high map i havent been able to tune really since its been pouring, but i currently have it at -27% until 3000rpms when i move it upto -20% to play it safe until it gets dry and i can get traction

Yeah, it's always better to play it safe than sorry. I'm not running the same setup anymore, but if I remember correctly my afc2 was down to between -35 and -40 to even get conservative a/f numbers on high-throttle upper rpms.

But I would not suggest those numbers to start out at of course. There are just too many variable differences in custom setups like these. And I actually won't even suggest running it on high throttle much until it is really tuned anyway. (Hard to resist, I know, but if you blow something you feel horrible)

Don't mean to thread-jack, but did you say you are selling your wideband Structure? email [email protected] I might be interested..
