So I usually don't ask stupid questions. I currently have a 1991 S13 that I am piecing together a turbo set-up for. It will be a good year or so before I have everything I need. A friend of mine is willing to sell me his 370cc injectors and S-AFC II. So I was wondering if I could install the injectors and S-AFC on my N/A for the time being and squeeze out a few more extra ponies out of my KA. Mods you dont see in my signature include a CAI and hotshot header.

Thank you, I searched for this topic already and couldn't find an answer.

Yeah, probably. The AF ratio goes purposely rich at WOT in 240s.

You'll be fine installing it now, just another thing you can get out of the way before turbo install.

In the worse case you can do what I did & just install the safc first, and leave the settings alone (after initial setup of course). Won't affect anything.

Then once you put in the 370's, you can adjust to that (something along the lines of -27 accross the board but maybe a little less neg for wot). Should get you around stock again, but w/ more timing advance (for better or worse).

Then if you feel really crazy, and since it's gonna be a year, you can hit the dyno & adjust accordingly & learn how to tune in prep again for the turbo setup.

Take your time, rushing & installing everything at once is just a huge headache... I've done that way too many times, hahahaha. Taking my time on my turbo kit - about a year now, geez I should install this mofo soon.

Good luck.

O yea, you get all these nifty graphs & #'s too - ppl always ask "what's that for"... just remember if a cop asks you if it modifies emissions, you say "no officer, it just displays my battery voltage and rpms and such, no modifying here."

Thank you for the quick and helpful response. Luckily we do not have emission testing in Oklahoma. I guess I'll pick the S-AFC and injectors up and start having fun with the installation.
