Just installed my S-AFC II on my 96 (Zenki) S14 SR20DET, everything went very well. Wiring was a breeze with the exception of the single and only new wire on the new S-AFC II vs the first gen, the knock sensor. I'd of course love to hook this up (the purple wire) so I can actually utilize the knock warning feature, but im not sure which pin on the ECU to splice. I've looked over all of the wiring diagrams I could possible find for my engine, even the Aussie 200SX manuals but can't seem to find which pin it is. Anyone happen to know?

I actually did find that while searching google, just wassn't 100% sure it was also correct for the S14 SR20DET and didn't want to risk splicing an incorrect wire. Can anyone confirm this JIC? Better safe then sorry, lol. Thanks for the help! :)

Check the color of the wire running to the knock sensor. It should be located on the block under the intake manifold between cylinders 2 and 3 IIRC.

The S-AFC II is universal correct? I was certain it was until I read on some Aussie site that it was vehicle specific...confused me greatly :)

No biggie, thank god I didn't run outside and splice it, LOL! Surely someone on these boards has an S14 (Kouki....93-96.5) SR20DET with an S-AFC II who can tell me which is the knock sensor pin?

So is it universal between the applications it is made for? I know that they work on RB25's, I just want to know if there is a specific model I will need or if ANY s-afcII will work.
