you are not using 100% of your AFM's potential to measure air. That is good, once you go past 100% your fuel enrichment will stop regardless of how much air you flow above 100% because your AFM can't measure it, BOOM! When you up the boost or in some other way increase the amount of air passing through the AFM you will see this value increase. If you start seeing values in the 90's frequently you better start thinking about a larger flow meter with more capacity to measure air. Now if you are not seeing 100% on your throttle usage on the SAFC your Trottle position sensor needs adjustment.

thanks that's what i figured, but i wasnt sure. Now when it hits 100% even with the s-afc i can't enrich it more?

nope. that's why everyone that makes big power has a usually either a cobra or z32 mafs.

does it matter what year z32? would you have to change the sensor number for the s-afc?

Would it be possible to use a z32 maf and a set of injectors lets say 420cc and be able to tune it with the SAFC and be able to hit 10psi. If you were to run 420cc you would be running very rich because the ecu thinks they are 280cc. But then changing out the maf you will be tricking the ecu into thinking is running with less airflow. You could then tune the signal for low rpm, and throttle position with the safc for idle, and adjust the top end so that it pushes more fuel for the extra pressure at the top end. This way you are not pegging out your maf and still have the fuel capabilities to run 10 psi with the larger injectors. I don't know if any of this makes sense.

That is will the stock ecu run with a z32 maf being adjust by the safc?
