so whats the skinny on the "ride Performance" after i lower my versa? Does the ride get real rough? will i be bouncing all over the place.....i want to lower it an inch to 1.5 inches, but not if the ride is going to suffer....i don't want to feel every crack and pebble in the road...know what i mean?

Thanks for the feedback guys....

I have the Tanabe's and no issues at all I drive about 190 miles a day on them......hanlding is better than stock...the only issue you may have is steep driveways if your not used to driving a lowered vehicle

Springs installed + alignment + tire balance should be less than $300 (at least mine was about $280).

2 questions, how fast will shocks and other parts wear out with lowerd springs compared to stock springs. second can I install them by using that jack to lift the car up or does it all have to be up of one of those things in the shop?

Don't take this the wrong way - but I really recommend against you trying to lowering your vehicle yourself.

Not all mechanics are the same. Based on Vahagn23 's past posts - I hope he'll get some help from another DIY mechanic to learn the process or have a shop do it on his behalf.

For example - when he's asking about the "jack," I believe he's referring to the jackscrews that come with the Versa.

The spare tire changer works just as good as a floor jack just that its a little harder to work. Requiers more hands a knees. But once you get the car up you want to get a jack stand to keep it up....the floor jacks and the one that comes with the car are not suppose to be under the car for more then like 20 mins I would say. They are not stable.

Also there is nothing wrong with installing springs on your own...its a good experience. I installed my own coilovers on my old 240sx and I had no idea about anything to do with cars. I just brought my laptop outside...stole someones wireless connection and read online how to do it. Took me 8 hours but I got it
