I'd drop down to one 12, something the size of a W7, but personally not a W7, I'm gonna run a Soundstream Davinci 12, http://www.soundstream.com/DAVINCIWoofer.html, put more power to it, put it in a sealed box, fiberglassed into the spare tire well, either mdf top, or some custom fiberglassing for show. You'll cut down the weight with one less sub, fiberglass the amps into the sides, so now you'll have enough room to put stuff in your trunk still, and you still have the go through to the back seat, and it will still hit hard, maybe not as hard as the 2 12's but you'll still be close.

I'll post pics of mine once I have finished, it will be basically how I described, but more unique.

I fit 2 subs in each side of my trunk firing inward in my altima. i cut a board out in the contour of each side of the trunk and then i built up a box with the maximum amout of airspace for my 12's while still maintaining enough space to fit 2 overflowing baskets of laundry in there. Just as long as the airspace requirement is met, this is a good way to do it. As soon as i get a digital camera, I'll post the pics. I love having trunk space again. Oh, and the amps are mounted on a false wall that extends from the top of the trunk in front of the rear speakers down to the floor and is supported by metal brackets that connect to the boxes and the car. This creates clean lines throughout the trunk. I did have to cut a board out for the trunk floor, the stock one was just not shaped correctly for this application.

I'm gonna show my age again, but here's a link to a '88 CRX with the spare tire well tunred into a sub box. Scroll down to see the story on the Yellow CRX.http://www.termpro.com/showcar....html

It was truly impossible to think a car could have that much bass and still have an open/useable hatch.

I have 1 Kove audio 12 in the trunk right now, not the Armageddon series, the one right below it, in a sealed box, firing upwards, the trunk doesn't rattle, but the headliner board does, solution pull down the board, and wrap the peices that hold the board up, with black electrical tape. For the trunk, mine rattled without a sub, so I went to Home Depot, they have this expanding foam in a can called Great Stuff, and it was great stuff. I put Dynamt over the lid and left 3 small holes barely ig enought o fit the nozzle into, sprayed about 3 cans into, now the trunk is a s solid as can be, no heavy, and doesn't rattle.Whatever type of setup you are planning to do, I would be more than happy to help you out anyway I can, wether it be with advice, or parts, our shop can get you just about any car stereo stuff you would like to run.

IM me at psyclone69, if you want anymore info.

Eric
