S-14 ka in S-13?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

hey will there be any issues putting an s-14 ka in an s-13?

what year S14 engine into what year s13? If it is a 95 into a 91 - 93, then there are no problems at all. In fact, that is what I am doing at the moment. If it is a 96 or higher into a 91 - 93, then you need to put the s13 manifolds on the s14 motor to get rid of the obd2 stuff.

I just finished my 95ka into my 93. I had to use the s13 intake mani along with the p/s pump and the dist. I also used my s13 header.

hmmm. misinformation ftl.

this is so easily searched, 15 million topics, and 15 million other people bitching about how many times this has been covered.

a 95 (or ANY s14 KA) KA still NEEDS at a minimum the lower intake manifold, and upper intake manifold sensors from the s13.

and uh, good luck bolting your s14 exhaust manifold to your s13 dowpipe....

you need to swap the s13 exhaust mani too, unless you happen to have an SR downpipe laying around

I used the s13 powersteering pump and bracket, and if you want AC, the compressor you use MUST match the year of the AC bracket you use. so jsut use s13 stuff. s13 dizzy was already said

knock sensor, oil pressure switch etc from the block are all interchangable

I love NICO. I found this post in less than 5min. I figured out the exhaust mani didn't work pretty quick and I got to looking at the S14 intake mani and it looked like it had extra sensors and the coolant lines for the heater weren't the same. I had a feeling I was going to have to swap the intake mani too. Soooo I got on NICO, 5 min later, I've got all the info I need.

I'm a Moderator here and this place still never ceases to amaze me....
