im considering doing an s-14 convo on my s-13 hatch...the only thing i cant seem to locate is fenders that would work. im wondering if i could modify s-13 fenders or if i could get s-14 fenders to fit on the s-13 chassis. if anyone has done this conversion or has some information on it i would really appreciate it. thanks

yeah that is what i want to do, the 97/98 Kouki front end. do you think i could use the s13-s15 convo fenders and just modify the notch where the corner lights meet the fenders?

I sure if people can do accord and civic to s-15 conversions an s13-s14 should be easy. You might have to do a small amount of work to get the headlights to look correct (IE fiberglass/bondo crap).

Of course I suck at body stuff, but thats just what honda people usually do...

um this is how the old american muscle cars converted some of their stuff well the method "i knew" they would take their fenders and another cars fenders chop it up and weld it together so it fits.

there aren't any conversion s13-14 fenders that i know of available so you'll need to do some cutting welding, rolling and some bending maybe.

the orange car that got converted looks pretty good almost like an oem fitment.

yeah that photoshop does look like spit...

but the kouki front end should be pretty wicked on a hatch, but... I thought the s14's were wider than the s13?

Doesn't this mean you couldn't just bolt it on anyways??

The front of that car looks WAY too new to look good with the rest of the body. An s14 front belongs on an s14. Do a silvia conversion please, it'll flow much better.

I'm confused. That's just a kouki s14 not a kouki front on an s13 hatch. LOST...

Yuck. A zenki would look much better on a hatch. At least the lines would be closer to each other.Dont even try to put a S14 front on a coupe.

Just put an s13 front on it since that's what it is. Don't try to make it something that it isn't.

Any s14 front on any s13 looks bad. Keep it away.

i still wanna see a kouki on a hatch tho... i mean why not??

Silvia front end on hatch > allR32 front end on hatch = pretty niceR33GTR front end on hatch = make my pants warmso why not try akouki on a hatch, at least it would be unique.

Hey Homie, If you like the kouki front end on your hatch, then more power to ya!! NEVER EEEEEEVVVVVER SETTLE FOR WHAT SOMEONE ELSE SAYS IS HOT, IT'S YOUR CAR MAKE IT WHAT YOU WANT IT TO BE!!

What difference would it really make?

If you put a S14 front end on a S13, wouldn't it look like an S14?

Up front yes. The back would still look like a normal s13. The side profile is that i'm scared of. The front will be rounded and smooth, as the rear will be square and ill-matching. I think even s14.5's show a difference in date from the front to rear side view. Please just check out the car on Mckinney's page, it's really sweet.

It looks decent... anything looks decent on a hatch, because of its lines... just like how a S15 and S13 front look great on it as well.. it flows with nearly everything... but if you replace the front ends, a coupe and a hatch arent even the same cars look-wise, so theres no accurate comparison there
