Hate to say it but...If he was drinking and driving then I glad he's the one that died and not some innocent person.

Never glad to hear anyone died. Hopefully his family is ok and the Jackass group pay him a tribute!

That hasn't been proven. There are several articles out there that don't even list alcohol as a contributing factor to the accident. No need to judge so quickly. As of now, the most popular theory is that he was speeding.

He's the only one of that crew that wasn't a complete douche. This sucks to hear. And it sucks that we lost a GT3.

I KNOW I WAS THERE!

Weird stuff. Also, confusion abound because of the possible hoax articles?

Wow all the negative feedback. He was one of my favs on Jackass. Aparently him and Steve-O made a show or something a few hours before the accident. Still haven't heard a word on who the passenger was.

Well, he had a passenger and they died too :/

A co-worker of mine told me earlier today that she had friends that were at the bar that night he was there (or the last he was seen rather) and he was trashed "as usual" (I live about 20min away from West Chester, PA). No pity and it's sad he took someone else's life along with him.

In this article, http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110622/ap_ ... Fzc3N0YXJk

the cause of death was listed as "blunt force trauma and thermal trauma". However, the toxicology reports won't be back for another four to six weeks. Guess we'll just have to wait a while to confirm our suspicions.

I'll be the jackass here: Good riddance to a menace to society.

"Jackass star Ryan Dunn had received at least 23 driving citations in the 13 years before his fatal car accident Monday.

10 were for speeding and careless driving, and three more were for driving with a suspended license, and at least one resulted in a DUI arrest.

The accident reports indicate a speed of 130mph at the time of the crash, and the bartender of the establishment in the photos confirmed that he had, in fact, been drinking prior to his crash.

"Police say a preliminary the toxicology report back from the Chester County Coroner’s office says Dunn blood alcohol concentration was .196.

The legal limit in Pennsylvania is .08."

.196 is F***ED UP.

If that had been you or I, we'd have been locked up.

I'm glad he didn't take anyone else out with him. One less idiot driver who thinks he's special.

...commence hatin', celebrity-worshippers. :)

Greg beat me to it. I just saw the local police announce it was drunk driving and 130+ mph.

Can;t feel much sympathy for such stupidity.

OK, I'm sad for that person's family. Think that person didn't know he was getting in the car with a drunk with a penchant for speeding?

Reports are saying the passenger was Zac Hartwell? And I'm sure he knew Dunn was drunk. Poor decision on his part getting in the car with him. Unfortunately, that decision cost him...

Yeah that is dumb. Of all people I would expect SteveO to die first.

Well, he tried. Have you ever seen the true life of SteveO when he was inhaling keyboard dust cleaner (whatever)? It was hard to see actually.
